High quality metal coated (aluminum, silver, gold) and dielectric mirrors for high intensity laser applications are available for a wide range of wavelengths.
Aluminum Mirrors
Aluminum coated mirrors exhibit high reflectivity across a wide range of wavelengths from the near-ultraviolet (near-UV) through the visible and in to the near-infrared spectral range.
Silver Mirrors
For the visible and near-infrared spectral ranges silver coated mirrors offer excellent reflectivity (approximately 95%) from the blue (400 nm) to wavelengths above 1200 nm. When combined with protective dielectric layers silver coated mirrors are an environmentally stable mirror that is a good reflector for most Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser applications.
Dielectric Mirrors (Narrowband)
Designed for high reflectance with high laser damage thresholds for specific laser wavelengths, narrowband dielectric mirrors are suitable for use in laser cavities or other high intensity environments. Dielectric coatings are extremely durable, making them resistant to damage from repeated cleanings.
Dielectric Mirrors (Broadband)
Broadband dielectric high reflection mirrors provide high reflectance over a broad spectral bandwidth, and are designed for tunable laser and white light applications. They are intended for use at 45° incidence. Normal incidence is available on request.
