  • Standard multipass and regenerative single stage amplifiers can produce pulse energies in the mJ range.
  • Multistage amplifiers are able to reach output energies of more than 1 J.

Single Stage Ti:sapphire Amplifier

Based on chirped pulse amplification (CPA) Ti:sapphire amplifiers incorporate pulse picking, pulse stretching, amplification and pulse compression into a single integrated system. Output parameters including pulse energy, repetition rate and pulse length will depend heavily on the choice of seed and pump lasers. Standard systems offer over 1 mJ of pulse energy at 1 kHz.
